All students from year 1 to year 7 have
weekly class music lessons with a
music specialist.
All students in years 4-7 learn the
recorder.
The school has two choirs - a
Junior choir and
a Vocal Group.
Students in year 7 make up the
Recorder Band.
Students from years 3-7 can take part in the
instrumental
musicprogram where they are provided with
free tuition in a range of instruments. Most of the instruments are
supplied by the school on a loan basis for a small fee.
Private
guitar lessons are also offered during school time on a
weekly basis.
Many of the students in the instrumental music program make up the
school's Concert Band.
